The Larry Redhouse Trio's mission: To play soul stirring original music, and our own interpretation of jazz standards with musical integrity for all listeners. Larry Redhouse's original composition, "If You Only Knew" from his Live at The Westard Look" CD was chosen as one of  Music Resource Groups ( MRG ) finalists  in its 2004 Independent Music Awards (IMA)- Jazz category.

The list of finalists in 18 music and design categories include solo artists, bands and graphic designers from the United States, Canada, England, France and Switzerland. Spirit Progression, Larry's latest CD was nominated as a finalist in the 2008 Native American Music Award's "Instrumental " category.
