Founded by generation 2006 of Karawitan college students of STSI on 2008 under the name SURABI. With eighteen members, the group consistently presents the new music creation by using traditional and modern instruments. The group tries to mix the west and east music which is definitely different on its working style: more explored, and also more flexible in pouring its musical idea. The changing on its working style is the direct influence of some experiments and also the instruments managing.

Created in November 1999 by the promoter Mr. Leonard BANIEKONA (member of Zone Franche) with the goal of promoting and improving the real Kongo traditional music and chorographical creativity in the Republic of Congo, the Brazzaville based drums and dance group NGOMA ZA KONGO, meaning “Drums of Kongo” is available for participation to festivals, tours, and performance of drums and dance throughout the world.

Leonor and Istvan Dely

Daughter of musicians, wife of a musician, mother of musicians, she has made music, breathed music, lived music since early childhood but never made a living out of it. Born from Afro Colombian father and Amerindian mother in the valleys of the Andes in Central Colombia, educated in Bogotá and settled for the past 25 years on the Caribbean Coast, her music rightfully incarnates the rich tri-ethnic diversity of Colombia, the Caribbean and the whole of South America.
